Bai Mu Dan - Yunnan

China

The tea is not rolled at all, but is dried gently in the sun at a temperature of around 40 degrees, so that all the characteristics of white tea are preserved. The name comes from one of China’s most beautiful flowers, the white peony. The colour of the brew is rather pale golden red, and the flavours are round and full, albeit fairly mild.

Serving suggestions

Drink the tea as it comes, but it is also suitable with milder dishes. Its sweet tones make it excellent to drink, slightly cooled, cold or as iced tea.
