Darjeeling Margaret’s Hope TGFOP1

India

In the 1930s, in memory of his daughter Margaret's untimely death, plantation owner, Mr. Bagdon, named the farm after her, since she had loved it so much. Here, the Chinese type of Thea Sinensis is cultivated almost exclusively. Bushes that slowly grow larger on the higher, cooler slopes of the Himalayas provide the foundation for the tea’s high quality and strongly aromatic character. A sparkling tea, with a coppery hue, right from the start of the second picking. The taste is aromatically spicy and somewhat sweet.
