Jasmin Dragon Pearl - Fujian

China

An exclusive jasmine tea, originated from the Sung dynastin (year 960-1280) where similarly shaped, newly emerging leaves are picked, and then rolled by hand into small pearls. The fresh tea leaves are allowed to ferment together with jasmine flowers. The jasmine flowers are then removed, and replaced with new ones several times over. The tea has a highly elegant, powerful floral flavour with a rounded after-taste.

Serving suggestions

For the sake of aesthetics make it a point to brew the tea in either a glass or glass teapot. Poor water between 70-80 degrees and let steep until the tea has blossomed. Poor more water when necessary.
