Sencha - Miyazaki

Japan

Miyazaki prefecture is Japan's fourth largest tea-producing region. The tea is similar to a medium steamed Sencha tea. The leaves of Miyazaki Sencha can look as though they weren't harvested until autumn, due to their rustic look. However, when steeped it’s mellow yet slightly fruity aroma is released. You can then sit back, close your eyes and bask in the sweet scents and tastes, picturing yourself enjoying a cup of fresh tea in the beautiful gardens where Miyazaki Sencha is cultivated. Along with it’s appearance, Miyazaki Sencha is renowned for its signature aftertaste which lingers in the mouth for a long time after finishing your first cup. Filled with hints of peach or apricot combining a delightfully sweet taste.
